This position will have primary responsibility for marketing and sales to family offices, business managers and other key financial advisers. Must be an experienced self-starter, have clean regulatory history, series 65, substantial portable book of business and an active rolodex of contacts in the high net worth arena. Successful candidates should have prior sales experience with mutual funds and separate account management.

 

Director of Operations

Westside LA money manager seeks experienced (5+ years) operations professional to oversee all trading and back office operations. Current strategies include large cap growth equities and balanced portfolios using unique proprietary investment analysis, with audited 9+ year track record. This position will have primary responsibility for client reporting, fund accounting, and interfacing with custodians and clearing firms. Must be an experienced self-starter with knowledge of the money management industry, brokerage background helpful.  Applicant must have a clean regulatory history, experience with Advent AXYS portfolio management system, Security APL, securities compliance procedures, basic accounting skills and fluency in Microsoft Office applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.

Education – Bachelors degree – business and accounting majors prefered, CPA or equivalent in portfolio accounting.

Personality – dynamic, high energy, detail-oriented team player looking to work in a boutique investment management firm.  Personal commitment and dedication to highest quality standards a must.

Compensation – base salary + bonus + benefits (employer paid health insurance, paid vacation.)
